Community Care Referrals and Authorization (CCR&A) Sub-Contract Award
Wellesley, MA, August 30, 2022- Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract to provide systems engineering and integration development services (InterSystems HealthShare, Caché/VistA) to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Community Care Referrals and Authorization (CCR&A) project.
The Community Care Referrals and Authorizations (CCR&A) solution will be an enterprise-wide system used by Community Care (CC) staff to automatically generate referrals and authorizations for all Veterans receiving care in the community. Clinical and VA CC staff located at VA Medical Centers, Outpatient Clinics, Community Based Outpatient Clinics, and VISN offices will use this solution. The CCR&A solution will be an integral component of the VA Community Care Information Technology (IT) architecture that allows Veterans to receive care from Community Providers.

This is a large effort to streamline the delivery of its Community Care products to improve Veterans’ access to care by reducing redundancies and increasing efficiencies. The task to support ongoing efforts by VA to modernize how the Agency manages Community Care and to support the implementation of the Community Care Network solutions. The scope of this task order enables the Department of Veterans Affairs to continue in its Product Line Management restructuring by combining the Community Care development and operations activities into a single task order award, which will be managed by Veterans EZ Info Inc as Prime contractor, employing a Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) methodology and Essential Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices.

VA Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transactions Application Suite (TAS) task Sub-Contract Award
Wellesley, MA, December 21, 2020- Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract to provide project management, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing in support of the Office of Community Care (OCC) EDI TAS Program.
The development team will be expected to deliver digital solutions in support of OCC systems business requirements, objectives, and mandates in existing and new systems to support claims and supporting functionality. The software engineering services resulting from this task will require deep knowledge of VistA Accounts Receivable and Integrated Billing (IB) modules, and expertise with multiple external applications and environments, to include the VA Enterprise Cloud and those at the VA Financial Services Center (FSC), Austin Automation Center (AAC), healthcare billing clearinghouses, and Information Assurance applications.

Under this contract the VA ETS, includes Independent Test and Evaluation, Software Code Quality Checking, Testing Systems Engineering & Implementation, Continuous Quality Improvement, ETS Management and Logistics Services, and other services as required to OI&T organizations in support of our Veterans.
